1) Decrease public support to Swiss agriculture
by eg. reducing direct payments, tariffs, export subsidies (s. Schoggigesetzgebung etc)
2) Decrease agricultural support to Swiss agriculture and support to food processing industries
by the measures mentioned above and by reducing obligations of food processing industry to purchase domestic produce.
including processing industry, by focusing on specific product categories, by enlarging the current GSP-scheme (General system of preferences)
eg by introducing respective public procurement schemes, by providing specific import quotas, by negotiating respective performance agreements with importers and processing industries, by introducing respective offers in bilateral trade agreements, by providing technical assistance to developing countries, etc.
5) Decrease agricultural support to Swiss agriculture in certain product categories
that are specifically relevant to developing countries, including processing industry, in combination with effektive market incentives to purchase sustainably produced, value added agricultural products from developing countries, by combining the measures mentioned above.
