The CDEdatablog aims at providing a low-barrier service for scientific topics and supporting researchers at the Centre of Development and Environment (CDE) in the areas of data visualization, data analysis, and data management.

We are convinced that a low-barrier entry point through interactive and animated graphs is a key instrument for taking research to the public. We believe that interactive graphs have a potential to reach a wider public.

The CDEdatablog presents research in an easy understandable visual way. Interactive graphs serve as low-barrier entry points for the debate on sustainable development

The CDEdatablog contribute towards CDE’s aim of providing knowledge for sustainable development. With a managed discussion board we enable other scientists and the public to engage in sustainable development. We are convinced that through the interaction of scientists and the public we can contribute towards substantiating sustainable development.
